Question: Is chiropractic care safe?
Answer: Yes, According to the Mayo Clinic a chiropractic adjustment is safe when performed by someone trained and licensed to deliver chiropractic care.  The American Chiropractic Association reports that chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of back pain, neck pain, joint pain of the arms or legs, headaches, and other neuromusculosekletal complaints. 
Question: Will I be sore with chiropractic treatment?
Answer: Some people experience mild soreness or aches similar to what you would feel after exercise. Most people report that the soreness or aches last less than 24 hours.
Question: Is chiropractic care worth the effort?
Answer: According to a recent study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine which was funded by the National Institutes of Health, chiropractic care was more effective than medication in treating neck pain in both the short and long term .
Question: What should I expect on my first visit?
Answer: On your first visit we will collect in depth information about your current and past health history. You will have digital x-rays and postural analysis photos taken. Dr. Cunningham will perform a head to toe focused physical exam and review your written information with you. Your next visit will be scheduled at that time for a complete report of findings.
Question: When will my treatment start?
Answer: On your follow up visit Dr. Cunningham will review the report of findings with you. Your report will cover the physical exam, digital x-rays, and postural analysis. Dr. Cunningham will carefully review your case before providing any treatment to ensure you get the best possible care. After the report of findings is discussed you will start your chiropractic treatment that same day.
Question: How long will it take to get better?
Answer: Our desire is to restore function to your body so you can function more efficiently. Our first objective is to reduce or remove the pain. We will review all of the information we obtained on your first visit and come up with a treatment plan that is specifically designed for you. Many times there are underlying issues that must also be solved or the pain will come back. This is the benefit of a personalized treatment plan.
