Dr. Tim Cunningham

Chiropractor in Mandeville, Dr. Tim Cunningham also provides service to Abita Springs, Covington, Madisonville, Slidell, and New Orleans, LA.

If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes I would have never believed it. My six month old granddaughter was certainly a joy in our lives, but we were worried when at six months she was not raising her head up at all. Then my daughter decided to bring her to see a chiropractor. She was adjusted by the chiropractor that day and later that night she started lifting her head and soon after started sitting up on her own. What a drastic change and a huge impact on her health and development.

Why I Chose Chiropractic

I always wanted to help people and have a positive effect on them. Becoming a chiropractor was the obvious choice for me to accomplish this goal since I believe in the body’s natural ability to heal itself. This is one of the fundamental principles of chiropractic. Since becoming a chiropractor I have been able to have a positive effect on people’s lives. I am now happy to go to work and feel that I help people achieve their personal health goals. I have seen people under my care go from being in so much pain that they could not perform simple tasks to being pain free and enjoying their lives.

I focus on restoring the body to function. The body has an innate ability to heal itself. Through chiropractic adjustment, nutritional counseling, and exercise we can enable the body’s innate abilities and assist patients in taking control over restoring and maintaining their own health. A healthy body functioning at optimum levels can greatly improve a person’s quality of life on into their later years.

Chiropractic Education

I went to Chiropractic College at Parker University in Dallas, TX. I especially enjoyed the clinical part of my education as I was able to start treating patients. The most rewarding part of my clinical intern period was working at the Dallas Veteran’s Administration Hospital. I felt I was able to help other veterans which was very important to me as a Navy veteran.

Personal Life

I live in Mandeville, LA, with my wife Stephanie and our two youngest of four kids. I enjoy spending time with my wife, kids, and grandchildren more than anything else. Family time consists of anything from gardening and games to sports. I am also active in my church and enjoy weight lifting.

I enjoy lifting weights and have for the majority of my life. I first started when I was a teenager and it became part of my everyday life. I also enjoy gardening and take special pride in growing my own vegetables. Gardening has also become a great way to connect with my kids and grandchildren. We all enjoy watching the seeds we have planted grow and seeing the end products on the dinner table. Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables has also been a very important part of our health routine. Natural cures to disease is always the first option in my household.

I can’t wait to get to know you and start a relationship. I can assist you in restoring and maintaining function and overall health in your body. This can enable you to enjoy the things you want to do through your entire life. Call our Mandeville office and schedule an appointment today!
